I have a requirement where I need to have the option to move stock between plants using stock transport POs but I am experiencing an error when entering the supply plant in the source list.
As an example.....
The material has source lists maintained for 2 plants (Plant A and Plant B) to source the material from an external vendor (which is fixed and MRP relevant)
The source list box is ticked in the Purchasing tab of the material master in both plants, which is correct and makes sense.
So in order to have the option to move material from Plant A to B, I created an additional line in the source list for Plant A with the supplying plant of Plant B. So now Plant A has a source list to get material from either external vendor (fixed) or Plant B.
So far so good.
However, when I add another line to the source list for the same material in Plant B (with Plant A as a supplying plant) the source list for plant A disappears. When I go in to the source list for Plant A it only shows the external vendor and not the Plant B source list that I had previously entered.
My requirement is to allow a user to create a stock transport PO which will allow him to move material between any combination of plants. But I cannot set the supplying plant to save in multiple plants
Any ideas?
