Hello,
In our process, we work with WM/PP interface for material staging. The steps are as follow:
1) The components are requested to the warehouse by the shop floor in CO02, which creates a TR.
2) This TR is then converted into a TO by somebody in the warehouse. When confirmed, the components are placed in a supply area.
3) The consumption of the components is done with transaction MIGO, movement type 261.
Our issue is that some users in the shop floor anticipate the MIGO step before the TO confirmation. This generates negative stocks in the supply area.
Does anybody knows a way to prevent this situation by blocking the consumption if it generates negative stock? The customizing defined for the storage type of the supply areas does not allow negative stock, but it does not change anything. It seems like the SAP logic does not allow WM module to block MM movements...
I would be grateful if somebody had a solution for this issue.
Thanks,
